Thailand, 22nd Apr 2024 - ASA Security Services is thrilled to announce that Andreas Karki has been appointed Director of Global Operations, alongside Scott Haylock, who will join as Director For Business Development in Southeast Asia in the near future. The company has also boosted its Bangkok operations team in partnering with KKG security solutions in Manila who will jointly operate a new 24/7 Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC). 

Andreas Karki formerly held a regional security position at one of the world's largest technology companies. He will spearhead the agency’s global operations. As previously reported, the agency expanded to 80 countries and is expected to grow further this year. With Andreas Karki as the Director of Global Operations, running and developing the company's range of protection and security solutions worldwide. 

Apart from the much-awaited appointment of the new Head of Global Operations, the agency has filled another essential position. Scott Haylock will be the Director of Business Development (SE Asia), based in Singapore. He was formerly the regional security lead at Ralph Lauren in Hong Kong. 

Working With KKG Security

ASA Security Services has further strengthened its already flourishing operations team in Bangkok. Graham Storey, The ASA Group’s Director of Business Development, shared that they recently acquired a stake in KKG, a highly respected Philippine-based security solutions provider. 

“The group will continue to expand the operations team when required so we can maintain our swift response for existing and new clients in the 80 countries where we provide services,” Graham Storey said. 

Launching New Charter Services

ASA Group will soon launch its enlarged capability to provide aircraft and luxury yacht charters.

Armed Security For Vessels Passing The Malacca Straits

ASA Group’s maritime team has been very busy, especially with its latest capability of offering armed security teams for vessels transiting the Malacca Straits. 

“We can now say with confidence that we can provide a full suite of maritime security services from SE Asia to West Africa and in between,” Graham Storey commented. “In association with Malaysian Marine Auxiliary Police, we can now offer a fixed price security service to ships and vessels transiting those waters,” he added. 

A Busy Year Ahead

ASA Group has already attended various events related to maritime operations. Graham Storey said, “After the Thailand International Boat Show, we also attended the Asia Pacific Maritime event in Singapore last March. At the same time, we attended events in the US.” 

ASA Group will attend the Singapore Yachting Festival this April. “In May, we will attend the Superyacht Investor event in London. Later in the year, we will attend the World Maritime Week in Singapore, where we will meet clients from the shipping and oil and gas sectors,” he shared. 

As for aviation, several members of the ASA Group will be at the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition in May (EBACE) This premier event in the private aviation industry will be held in Geneva. In October, ASA Group will also attend other aviation events in Las Vegas.
